Integration Thunderbird as Sogo client

  • This is the default fat client for sogo

  • You have to install the thunderbird add ons as decribed here

  • Support for Thunderbird 2.x is ending, so consider using Thunderbird 10 ESR
  • Support for Thunderbird 3.1.x is ending, so consider using Thunderbird 10 ESR
  • For thunderbird version 4.x - 9,x there are no sogo extensions available

  • The Thunderbird ESR versions can be downloaded from here

  • You can also push configuration and new add-on version via auto update

  • For a automatic upgrade of the sogo extensions between thunderbird V3.x to 10.x look here
