General Concepts
Sogo is using standard components to provide full groupware capabilities.
You normaly need these components for a fully working system:
Mailserver providing IMAP access. Known to work well are cyrus and dovecot.
- Database postgresql, mysql or oracle for storing user settings, calendars etc.
At least one source of authentification for your users. LDAP (openLDAP), ActiveDirectory or database (postgres,mysql or oracle).
- If you already use ldap for your mailserver, then it's a good idea to use this also for your sogo installation
